I've had the engineers and IT support staff (dad) on it for some time, and we have it from the "horse's" mouth that this bloggering irritation is indeed a difficult nut to crack. We've imrpoved the problem somewhat by using wire thingies instead of that little box with the lights that sends stuff through the air - some kind of wireless router (don't tell Asta) - but this has not solved everything. The odd thing is that the impediments were occurring only on blogger pages and not on others, and that we were getting error messages from blogger, but I won't bore you all with the details.... The important thing is: We're Back! and working on the rest until we solve it!
To celebrate our reunion with the blogging world, I am starting the
first ever all-animal lyric-writing bee! Here are the specs:
Using the song "From Both Sides Now" as a model, write your own lyrics for one or more verses that reflects your life and views as an animal, then post them on your blog, link back to Charlie's DogBlog, then stop by and leave me a comment that you've participated ...and we'll see how long the song gets! no time limit, and no tagging necessary, just spread the news by patter of paw, linking to this post. TELL YOUR FRIENDS TELL YOUR HUMANS TELL EVFURRYBODY!
I'll start:
Rabbits, tails and bouncing balls,
In my youth I've chased them all.
Furry whirlwinds in the sun,
In field and forest glade.
Now old toys are smelling stale,
My teeth won't grip them anymore.
Cozy bed calls from the floor,
Stiff joints and blurry sight.
I've looked at dreams from both sides now,
from then and now, and still somehow,
it's dreams' illusions I recall...
I really don't know which is real at all!
15 happy tails:
Oooh that sounds like fun! I'll have to get my peeps to help me though. Yours was just pawsome!
My mom gets mad at Blogger a lot. Sometimes it is a very bad boy!

With both of us working on it, we should be able to write some lyrics From Both Sides Now. BOL. Dog Dad of course old enough to remember when that song came out.
We have missed you, very much. You should know that you will always have a friend from the land of yesterday, even though you live in the land of tomorrow.
Dog Speed,

We're glad you're back among the bloggers again. It must be irritating to be kept away.
Hi Charlie, glad you're back. Sure have missed you. Yes, Blogger can be real cranky.
Love your song! Wonder if LS is free or creative enough to write any. Will see about that.
Hello Charlie
That is far too clever for me to even contemplate, and the way mistress works it would take all year.
I shall look forward to reading others' efforts though.
I am happy you are back Charlie :) Sorry about your Blogger problems!! I'll purr that they go away & stay away!!!!!
I'll see what we can do about the bee ;) My typist has NO talent you know !! heeheehee
