Saturday Evening

I almost slept through St. Patrick's Day! I curled up in my bed and I saw all of those little green men dancing around, but they will have to go in a few days so that they don't miss St. Partick's Day, either. I will miss them; they were entertaining. My human said that since a dog my age ages five years for every human year, I get to have five birthdays this year. That means I'm having a dogday in a few days, too - wonder if those little green men will join me?

Oh, and look how lucky I am! My friends Maggy and Zoey and their human at Zoolatry felt bad that I missed out on swimming with those funny dolphins, so they gave me a ride on Shamu! They also made this cute picture for me - what thoughtful kitties they are!

The last one reminded my human of some lovley song lyrics - remember Nat King Cole? (we changed the words a bit)
...a little shy
And sad of eye
But very wise
Was she...

And then one day
A magic day she passed my way
And while I spoke of many things, food eating,
This she said to me
"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return" - Naturedog we know how to be loved!)

G'day Charlie mate,
So it's your barkday in a few days. We'd like to be the first to say happy birthday but don't worry we'll be back to say it on the day.

Hope your weekend is going well.
Did you get that storm earlier. We had loads of rain this afternoon.

You look so cute riding shamu! Watch out for the little green men - you don't want them stealing your treats.

Wooo, now that didn't occur to me that a canine ought to have 5 barkdays a human year! I MUST go tell my Chief ... that am not to have ONE barkday pawty but FIVE!

Thanks for sharing!! :D

It is good to hear your bark again. Up over here in the states we will celebrate St. Puptricks day on 17 March. We guess you shouldn't worry to much, because it is always yesterday here.

We will have to see if we can have Dad add food coloring to our water, so we can poop green. (Dog Dad - That is not going to happen guys).

We're glad you woke up in time for St. Patrick's Day.

We love the graphics Zoolatry made for you.

If we get an opportunity, we'll bite that mean SPCA guy for you. The one who is taking animals away from their owners. And we have teeth!
