Wonderful weather - warm, breezy, sometimes a little rain, sometimes a little sun. Perfect for sniffing around my little spot in the garden that my humans call "Charlie's Paddock," or for lazing on the porch and dreaming of long romps in the woods of the Grunewald with my brother Higgins, may he rest peacefully in the Great Forest Beyond. We would smell the traces of all kinds of woodland creatures going about their creature business, and jump over rocks and fallen trees, rustle through drifts of fallen leaves, wade in the little lakes and run down the paths with wild abandon. Those were the days! Now I prefer to stay on the porch.
But life is not all snooze for a blogging dog, for my dear doggie friends have once again bestowed my humble bloggie with some very nice awards, for which I express my puppy gratitude:

...and I also wanted to give this to Essex and Deacon because they are enjoying the colours in Ohio, but somehow I missed putting them on the list! (oh I am so embarrassed) Sorry, collies, you have my humblest puppy apawlogies! (sniff) Do accept the award and have a great time up North!
And from those pretty collies in the Keys, the "I Love Your Blog" award. I was so dazzled by their Golden Paw when I visited their place, that they most generously awarded me with one of those, too! (I put it on the right)

Phew! It's hard trying to narrow it down, but that's the great thing about blogging awards: they always circulate and we're all making paw prints in the aether! (hmmm, I wonder if instead of 'surfing' the web, we dogs can say we're 'sniffing the fireplugs?') I'll go have a nap and see if anything comes of that thought...
