Tuesday Evening

Hello all of my blogging buddies! I am writing this via conference call with my human because she is in Brisbane this week. Being a good dog, I helped her pack and get ready to go. We were so busy making sure everything was set for me to watch the small ones while she is away that she did not have time to publish my post before she left, but promised she would do it later.

We did have a nice day yesterday getting all of the laundry done - and there was a lot of washing after the weekend as warmer weather is here and sailing and cricket are the order of the weekends. I was going to go to the sailing club but my human said 32 degrees C was no climate for a dog to be lying about in, and she's probably right, so I stayed home and kept the bats from the mulberry tree. - yes, it's a tree, not a bush, and there are no monkeys -

After we did the washing, I kept watch over my human's slippers and she made some puff tarts with the mulberries that were harvested - you can also see that she did not forget to make doggie puff pies for me (with beef boullion) We had a lovely afternoon because the rest of the household spent the day in the "top paddock" out back, so we ate our puff pies and listened to our dreamy Debussy and Ravel string quartets.

Last week I got some really great awards for my bloggie; my human told me that she would help me post the awards when she gets back!

Hi Charlie, sounds like you had a nice weekend. We have never had mulberries, we just know the nusery rhyme about the mulberry bush.

Hi, Charlie,

Hope your human has a safe and fun trip.

Thanks for coming by. Zoolatry made the new header and we love it. That's Buddy with his back to the camera. (He's always going the other direction.) But his face is added above Samaritan (Sam's on the end).

You are talking about warmer weather and we are now looking for cooler weather. Oh well, that is the way it goes.
Saw that you stopped by today and wanted to let you know that is is always nice to visit with you. Glad that you liked the changes to my place. You should try it, it isn't too hard but I will say the mom of the house had to have help.
Rest up and take it easy.

Hi Charlie!!

Your mom made doggie puff pies with beef boullion for you? What a great meal?? We wish our mom makes it for us, too!

Thanks for your tip. This morning mom dressed James up while he was sleeping and took some pictures. Mom enjoyed posing him actually. heheh...He actually woke up after a while but all pictures turned out really good!

We hope your mom's safe return!

Those beef things look yummy. I hope your mom has a good trip and gets home soon. Good thing you're guarding those slippers-- they might escape.
